Description: Pass of Ryvoan, 10.9 km. east-south-east of Aviemore. Inverness-shire. Drained lochan held up by terminal moraines of the former Glen More glacier. The flat floor of the former lochan is caused by the deposition of sediment. Once the terminal moraine holding up the water for the lochan was breached, the water would have completely escaped leaving the lochan floor as it is in the photograph.
