Description: Hill, W. of Okeford Common, 1 1/2 m. SSW of Sturminster Newton. Looking E. Plateau Gravel, near Okeford Common. Flat surface formed by gravel shown in section in No. A2113. The ground has a slight inclination to the left (north). The gravel caps an isolated hill of Kimmeridge Clay at a height of about 150 feet above the River Divelish. In the background, ? mile distant, is Banbury Hill (Kimmeridge Clay), which bears a thin remnant of the same, or a similar, gravel-spread.
