Description: Escarpment, E. of Sedgely Hall, Sedgely, about 2 1/2 m. N. of Dudley. Looking NE. Westward scarp of the Aymestry Limestone on Lower Ludlow Shales. In the foreground, a quarry in the highest calcareous sandstone and conglomerate of the Enville Beds, which dips at 40 degrees to NW. Western scarp of the Aymestry Limestone and Lower Ludlow Shales behind. The base of the Aymestry Limestone is marked approximately by the hedge at the top of the scarp slope.
