Description: Railway-cutting between New Cross and Brockley Stations (L.B. and S.C.R.). Looking NW. Folds in the Woolwich and Reading Beds. Nearer view of No. A1919. The light coloured beds in the crest of the fold to the left of the figure are the sands of the Lower Woolwich. Above these are the darker shelly clays containing a band of freshwater limestone, to which the figure is pointing.
