Description: Littleton Reservoir, about 1 m. S. of Ashford. The pug mills. The weathered clay from the dump shown in No:A1894 is carried by the trucks seen on the bank and shot through hoppers to the mills where it is ground. Afterwards it is dropped into the trucks on the lower track and carried to the puddle trenches.
