Description: Council Quarry (Nuneaton) Tuttle Hill, near Nuneaton. Looking NW. Middle or Tuttle Hill Quartzite. The photograph shows the high dip 50 degrees south-west and the thin-bedded nature of this portion of the quartzite. The sill of diorite in the left-half of the picture is a continuation of the thick mass in the Midland Quarry but is here only about 10 feet in thickness.
