Description: Joberns' Clay Pit, S. of Walsall Wood, (2/3 m. SSW of Vigo near Walsall). Looking N. and NE. Clay-pit in Etruria Marls for manufacture of blue bricks, tiles, and drain-pipes, etc. The pit is in red marls, with some bands of conglomerate and breccia known as Espley rock, which is rejected as useless. A pile of blocks of this coarse rock is seen on the right of the incline.
