Description: Baker's Hole, Northfleet. Looking N. Unassorted gravel resting on piped and brecciated Chalk. A pipe is seen on the left-centre of the photograph. It is lined with a reddish-brown tenacious clay containing white patinated angular flints, and infilled with detritus of gravel and sand. The clay arises from solution of the Chalk and represents Clay-with-flints.
