Description: Strathspey from above Loch Alvie, 3 km. south-west of Aviemore. Inverness-shire. Gravel terraces, probably of fluvioglacial origin, in foreground and middle distance, with Loch Alvie occupying a hollow in these deposits. The low rounded hills in centre are roches moutonnees in the path of the Strathspey glacier. The two lower hills in the middle distance are Ord Ban (left) and Duke of Gordon's Monument, the wooded hill on the right. Creag Dubh on the skyline. Forms part of a panorama with B00750 and B00752 showing Strathspey from Aviemore (on left) to Loch Insh (in distance on right).
