The outlying stacks consist of Portland Stones with Lower Purbeck. The pinnacle on the nearest stack is formed by 'Broken Beds'. The distant cliff shows on the right a bold headland formed by Lower Purbeck and Portland Stone, a bay (Warbarrow Bay) formed in the Wealden Beds and on the left the Chalk, all dipping at a high angle from right to left. |
