Description: View from the south slope of Stob Ban, 5.633 km. north-west of Kinlochleven. Looking east. Inverness-shire. An old Tertiary valley cut across by a later Tertiary valley, opened by denudation along a shatter belt. The road winds along the glen. A cottage adjoins the road. The valleys pre-date the Pleistocene epoch when Scotland was under the effects of glaciation. The Tertiary covers a time span from 65-2 million years ago. Stob Ban = white peak.
