Caption: Coire nam Beithach, Glen Coe. Argyllshire.
Description: The fault, being a major fracture in the rocks along which there has been movement, forms a natural weakness which has been exploited and hence it has been eroded to the deep cleft seen. In the background are the twin peaks of Bidean nam Bian. The deep cleft in the centre (An t-Sron) marks the Glen Coe Boundary Fault of the Glencoe Cauldron Subsidence. To the left are phyllites with augite-andesites on top while to the right of the fault is granite.
