The southern wall of the 'gash' is formed of undisturbed limestone D and has a well-defined face (picked out in green). The opposite face separating C from the undisturbed limestone B, is indefinite. B is cut off, close to the 'gash', by a fault A which is the western limit of a wide belt of friction-breccia E. |
