Description: Bullslaughter Bay (E. side), S. of Warren. Gash-breccia resting on undisturbed Carboniferous Limestone. For general position in cliff see A in Nos. A1034 and A1019. In the former the same block of limestone is marked X as in the present view. Much of the matrix is soft and the enclosed blocks weather out. On each side, I and J, of a natural arch (through which the white shingle beyond is seen) the gash-breccia rests on undisturbed limestone, the junction being picked out in green (I. is also seen from the left in No. A1034). Some of the limestone along the right-hand edge of the view is undisturbed. On the left are distant cliffs, seen in No. A1057.
