Description: The north-west face (868.38 m.) of Aonach Dubh, from near Clachaig, Glen Coe. Argyllshire. Lower Old Red Sandstone volcanic rocks of the Glencoe Cauldron Subsidence. Paler rhyolitic lavas and ignimbrites overlie darker basalts and andesites. Note the glacially deposited moraine mound in the foreground and the old road and the house of Achnambeithach at the foot of Aonach Dubh.
