Description: Cliff NW of The Wash, Castlemartin. Looking WNW. Clump of lithostrotion in contemporaneous dolomite, Carboniferous Limestone. The coral is largely silicified (chert). The dolomite is dark-grey and less resistant to weathering than either the calcite-veins which cross it or the limestones immediately above and below. Horizon = S1.
