Description: Barras Nose, Tintagel. Sheared Upper Devonian lava. At the base of the lava is a band of sheared lenticles consisting of magnetite, calcite, quartz, and some white mica. The magnetite composes the bulk of the rock and occurs as well formed octahedra.
