Description: Ifton Quarry, Severn Tunnel Junction. Looking NE. Millstone Grit unconformably filling hollows in Carboniferous Limestone, both overlain by Trias, the dark material which has been worked from the edge of the quarry. The hollow is the continuation of that shown in A797. It extends down to the limestone band immediately below the figure.
