Description: Ifton Quarry, Severn Tunnel Junction. Looking W. To the left the upper part of the quarry exposes Millstone Grit, the lower part Carboniferous Limestone, the junction not being traceable in the photograph. In the projecting shoulder to the right is seen the hollow in A792 and A797. The Trias (dark in the photograph) has been partly worked back.
