Description: Between Buttern and Leskernick Hills, Altarnun. Looking NE. Unassorted wash above the 750 foot platform. Another view of the same working as A116. The water was brought along the hillsides in 'leats' in trenches and taken from a stream a little to the right of the ground here seen. Rainfall on the hillsides was also caught in these leats and brought to the works. The highest point of delivering was just above the projecting foot (on the right) on the bottom of the hollow. The entire hollow has been eroded by shearing and is in no part natural.
