Description: Parkmore Quarry, 1.2 km. north-east of Dufftown. Banffshire. Interior view showing delivery of ground limestone to conveyor belt, which carries bags of ground limestone to loading point. Note the empty sacks in the foreground. Several full bags are seen on the conveyor. The lime produced is chiefly used by builders and plasterers and to a lesser degree for agricultural and gas purifying purposes. It is consigned to all the districts served by the Great North of Scotland and Highland Railways between Aberdeen and Caithness.
