Caption: Parkmore Quarry, 1.2 km. north-east of Dufftown. Banffshire.
Description: This photograph is of particular interest for the view of the tractor. Two unhitched trailers are being loaded at the quarry face. A number of quarrymen can be seen, various hand tools close by including a pneumatic drill. The quarry is situated on the east side of the railway viaduct which crosses the River Fiddich. Working face in limestone of Sandend Group showing method of loading limestone into trailers for transport to crushers.
