Description: Parkmore Quarry, 1.2 km. north-east of Dufftown. Banffshire. The quarry is situated on the east side of the railway viaduct which crosses the River Fiddich. General view of quarry and plant. To the left of the photographs are the various crushing plant buildings connected by conveyor. Behind is the quarry face. The building closest to the quarry face is the primary crusher. The limestones of the Banffshire series are the principal rocks of economic value in the district. There are two major lime-works, Blacklockhill near Keith, and at Parkmore and Tininver, Dufftown.
