Arched, striped and cleaved Dodman Series phyllite, cut by vertical cleavage. owing to the difficulty of lighting the curved face, (oblique illumination not being available), the vertical cleavage is less conspicuous than it should be. It shows just below the hammer. Compare with Nos. A136 and A137. Figured in Memoirs of the Geological Survey: The geology of Mevagissey (1907) Plate IV.
