This ground, which consists of head, is devoted to Flower Church, and a number of high hedges of 'Escallonia' are shown, grown to break the force of the wind. On the extreme left of the photograph is seen the commencement of the rising granite. Figured in Memoirs of the Geological Survey - The geology of the Isles of Scilly (1906) Plate VII.
