Description: Rubislaw Quarry. Aberdeenshire. Showing jointing of granite and material brought down by blast. Large granite blocks recently blasted from the quarry walls. A large block in the centre of the photograph has a chain around it awaiting lifting. In the centre, by the quarry face several workmen can just be seen preparing another block for lifting by the blondin.
