This specimen represents the light-coloured variety of Swedish Green Marble, and is obtained from a quarry closely adjoining that which yielded the foregoing example. This is known as the G Quarry, and the marble is distinguished by the same letter. The veining in this variety is somewhat irregular, and it has a slightly mottled appearance. |
