Flat-topped steep-sided characteristic of volcanoes erupting through ice where a simple cone is not formed. Composed of Upper Pleistocene basic and intermediate hyaloclastic and pillow lavas in core. Supraglacial lavas and outwash sediment collapsed around margins. |
