Description: | A dove-grey, compact, structureless dolomite. Composed of grains of dolomite of uniform size, 0 .01-0.04 mm, among which small grains, 0.01 mm, of quartz are common and occasionally concentrated in short narrow streaks. The grains of the dolomite are a little coarser in narrow, interrupted, vein-like courses. Dolomite, luteous, micrograined, granular. SL0256. Britrocks S35356. Magnification x40. Light PPL. |
