Description: | A white translucent saccharoidal marble. Composed of interlocking grains of dolomite which are equidimensional but only rarely rhomboid and are usually about 0.5 mm across. There are a very few grains of forsterite, serpentinized along cracks. Dolomite, medium-grained, granoblastic. SL0248. Britrocks S35348. Magnification x40. Light PPL. |
