Description: | Grey compact limestone, composed of small grains (0.02-0.05 mm grain-size) of carbonate, which are always coated, more or less thickly, with turbid argillaceous matter and cemented by more finely divided calcite. Specks up to 0.03 mm in size of opaque material are numerous, and are mainly of black carbonaceous matter but include pyrite. Limestone, argillaceous, fine-grained, granular. SL0197.
