Description: Pale purplish-grey, compact, sparkling limestone, composed of fragmentary shells, foraminifera, polyzoan skeletons, crinoidal remains, spines and Calcisphaera, in a matrix of line-grained calcite which is largely recrystallized organic debris. Limestone, fine-grained, microfossiliferous, clastizoichnic. SL0144. Britrocks S34630. Magnification x40. Light PPL.
