| Description: | Whitish grey, moderately coarsely crystalline limestone composed of interlocking grains of twinned calcite (1 to 2 mm) with numerous subordinate minerals including quartz, alkali-feldspar, tremolite and small, 0.01 mm, grains of zoisite. Sphene and apatite are accessory. Limestone with some quartz, feldspar and calcsilicates, coarse-grained, granoblastic. SL0015. Britrocks S34502. Magnification x40. Light PPL. |
