Description: Greyish white, coarsely crystalline limestone, composed of large (4 mm) irregularly interlocking, often sutured plates of twinned calcite containing small grains of oligoclase, quartz, tremolite and sulphide ore as accessory minerals. Limestone, coarse-grained, with peripheral granulation, diablastic. SL0014. Britrocks S34501. Magnification x40. Light XPL.
