Description: Dark, grey, saccharoidal limestone composed of inequigranular calcite, 0.05 - 0.5 mm, with much opaque, argillaceous material, including oxidized pyrite and carbonaceous matter, distributed through the rock. Limestone, argillaceous, medium-grained, xoophasmic, granular. SL0098. Britrocks S34490. Magnification x40. Light XPL.
