Description: Fine-grained quartz-albite-granulite, with abundant calcite, accessory dolomite, rutile, apatite and muscovite. The portion from which the rock section has been made is much poorer in lime than is shown by chemical analysis from the bulk of the rock. Calcareous quartz-albite-granulite. SL0086. Britrocks S34481. Magnification x40. Light PPL.
