Description: A buff-grey dolomite with many cavities. Crinoid columnals and shell fragments are numerous in a matrix of dolomite of 0.2 mm grain. The columnals are in general preserved as single crystals of dolomite but marginally recrystallized with the matrix. The dolomite is slightly ferriferous with omega approx. 1.688. Bituminous matter is abundant along thin seams; pyrite also is present as strings along some bedding divisions and quartz is sporadic. Dolomite, bituminous, varigrained, zoichnic, taxichnic. SL0036.
