Description: | Dull grey rock composed of clear, granular and rhomboid carbonate, of grain 0.01 - 0.02 mm with irregular relics of turbid carbonate of still finer grain. Scattered grains of quartz, occasional yellowish micaceous material, alkali-feldspar and tiny films of white mica are also present. Dolomite, luteous, micrograined, with pelitomorphic lattice. GS0010. Britrocks S33200. Magnification x16. Light PPL. |
