Description: Cwm Tryfan. Looking S. Cwm Tryfan. Tuffs of the Capel Curig Volcanic Formation and intrusive rhyolite that form the high crags of Tryfan and Glyder Fach are moderately inclined on the western limb of the Tryfan Anticline. The gently-dipping sediments of the lower ground are in the core of the structure.
