Description: Oblique aerial view of Inverkeithing, Inner Bay and Cruicks Quarry, Fife Region. Most of the area is underlain by a Carboniferous quartz-dolerite sill (which can be seen exposed in the large active quarry). The area adjoining the Inner Bay is infilled 'made ground'. The steep wooded area on the coast at the bottom of the photograph is a much degraded old cliff associated with the low postglacial raised beach. The latter is just visible as the flat vegetated ground above the wave-cut platform.
