Description: Granite paving setts at the Bonawe Quarries, located on the north shore of Loch Etive, lying to the east of Connel Bridge, Argyllshire. A geologist from the British Geological Survey, Dr. A. Highton examines the granite paving setts. They were fashioned from the marginal monzogranite facies of the Etive pluton at Bonawe. These were once one of the main products of this quarry, but are now a minor product for a specialist market.
