Description: | Scaun, north-west coast of the Aikerness peninsula, Westray. Orkney. A natural arch in horizontally-bedded Rousay Flags. The development of the arch would have begun by the formation of caves on either side of the headland, the caves would join to form an arch and eventually the roof would collapse to leave an isolated sea stack. |
