Description: Cliff about 350 yd. W. of Hanover Point, Compton Bay. Looking SE. Junction of Wealden Shales and Marls, near Compton Grange Chine. The descending succession here is: Wealden Shales. Blue and pale variegated clay and marl, about 8 ft. Greenish-white silty sandstone, with uneven top, 3 ft. Wealden Marls - Variegated clay, at foot of cliff on right.
