| Description: | Inveruglas Power Station (Sloy hydro-electric scheme) on shore of Loch Lomond. Dumbartonshire. Taken from rocky promontory, 600 m. north-north-east of Power Station. The hill behind is the south-east shoulder of Ben Vorlich. The prominent pipes (penstock) bring water from Loch Sloy. It is one of the earliest hydro-electric schemes to be built in the post-1945 era. The rocks are Beinn Bheula schists, part of the Dalradian Southern Highland Group. |
