Description: Aber Falls (Rhaeadr-fawr). Looking SE. Lower part of Aber Falls. Cliffs forming the lower part of the falls are in hornfels (baked mudstone). The higher slopes, just above the top of the cliff over which the white water in photo spills, are in microdiorite.
