| Description: | Foreshore, Foulness, Hastings. Looking NE. Cliffs near Ecclesbourne Glen. Cliffs cut in top Ashdown Beds and basal Wadhurst Clay on either side of Ecclesbourne Glen. The massive 'Cliff End Sandstone' of the basal Wadhurst Clay forms the cliff top of both sides of the glen. Beneath this the massive top Ashdown Beds sandstones are seen to change character to the east side of the glen. |
